- When is the best time to start the NuJuva Skin Care Process?
The NuJuva Skin Care Kit is recommended to be used year around. The NuJuva Peel Kit is recommended to be used during the low sunlight months of the year. When using the NuJuva Peel Kit System, it is very important to protect yourself from sun exposure because ultraviolet light can easily damage your exposed skin. Therefore, using this system during the right time of the year is very important. It is always recommended to apply SPF 30 sunscreen to your face and neck on a daily basis to ensure protection from ultraviolet sunlight.
- How does the NuJuva Skin Care Kit work in conjuction with the NuJuva Peel Kit System?
Each kit is perfectly blended to compliment and work in conjunction with each other. We recommend using the NuJuva Skin Care System two weeks prior to starting the NuJuva Peel Kit. This will maximize the exfoliation process and will better help the Peel Kit rejuvenate skin cells for a softer younger look.
- Which system is right for me?
Each system is designed to combat different skin problems. The following is a simple guide to help you better decide which system is right for you:
- Clarity — Formulated to aid in the reduction of breakouts, congestion, acne, and for oily skin types.
- Regenerate — Formulated for anti-aging and environmentally challenged skin. It will also help reduce the appearance of age spots, wrinkles and enhance skin tone.
- Replenish — Formulated for anti-aging with those that suffer from dry skin. It has soothing, healing and hydrating benefits.
- How do I use the Peel Pads?
When using the peel pads, keep in mind that this product contains acidic qualities that are designed to strip away damaged cells from the skin. It is important to carefully and gently apply the product on the pad. Do not press hard and only make one pass on the skin in any one given area. Be careful to avoid the eyes, mucus membranes and any open sores or wounds.
- After applying the product from the Peel Pad, do I keep it on or wash it off?
The product from the Peel Pad does not have to be washed off. It will evaporate after a couple of minutes and the recommended Purifying Mask can then be applied. After Applying the Mask, keep in on for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with tepid water. This process will remove the damaged cells from the skin, left behind from the Peel product.
- Do I have to use all the products in the Skin Care System every time and how often do I use it?
It is important to use all the products in the Skin Care System as instructed in the progression. Use the skin care system up to twice daily to achieve maximum results.
- When I am ready to apply my weekly Peel Kit System, do I use the Skin Care System right before I start the Peel Kit?
No. Although it is recommended to use the Skin Care System two weeks before applying your first Peel System, you do not need to apply the entire Skin Care System right before the Peel Kit. The Peel Kit can begin after you cleanse your face and neck and it is free of any makeup.
- Are there any side effects to using the Peel Kit System?
It will be normal to feel a slight tingling or stinging sensation when first applied. It is common to experience mild flaking and peeling when beginning to use the NuJuva Peel Kit Systems. Over time, most skin types will become acclimated to the product as cellular regeneration occurs. However, if swelling or oozing occurs, discontinue use and consult with your physician. If you have an allergy to aspirin, do not use the Clarity Peel Kit System.
- When I apply the Clarity Serum or the Replenish Vitamin C Serum I feel a tingling sensation. Is that normal?
Yes. This helps promote new cell generation and it is very common to feel a tingling sensation when these products are applied.
